Guild BioSciences is a growing biotech company developing biologically oriented products for dynamic high-impact applications. They are seeking a long-term to support the core research objectives of several outgoing projects. The intern will be mentored to gain experience in basic microbiology, genetics, and product-oriented research.

The candidate must be enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate Degree program with focus in microbiology, molecular genetics, molecular biology, or related scientific disciplines. Previous hands-on laboratory experience is required. Preferred work schedule is at least three consecutive days during normal business hours, approximately 20 hrs/week.

NASA Internship

NASA Internship-Merritt Island, FL

For highly motivated, multidisciplinary students: the Chemical and Biological Sciences Research Group at Kennedy Space Center is seeking an intern!

Student will lend support to any number of microbiological, molecular, analytical chemistry and horticultural experimentation occurring at the time.

This work can include (but not limited to): maintenance and harvesting of experimental food crops, PCR/Gel electrophoresis, heterotrophic plate counts, spread/streak plating, sample preparation, chemically analyzing various phytochemical and water constituents via HPLC, IC, ICP and TOC.

It is recommended to have knowledge about autoclaves, pipettes, basic wet chemistry techniques, and analytical balances in advance.

Requirements: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Expected outcome includes a paper outlining one focus experiment.

Dow AgroSciences R&D Summer Intern Program

DowAgroLabInternResearch & Development internships at Dow AgroSciences are available in chemistry, biology, and computer science related disciplines, including, but not limited to, biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, microbiology, plant breeding, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, surface chemistry, engineering (chemical, biological, material, or optical) and informatics (bio and chem).  The laboratory-based Research and Development internships are located at our global headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana.  This is a paid internship; salaries are determined by the student’s year in school.  Subsidized housing is available for qualified students.  Eligible students will be pursuing a Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate degree from a U.S. based college or university with proper U.S. work authorization, or the ability to obtain work authorization through their university. Interested students should apply at on the DowAgroSciences website.
