Summer 2025 Research/Internships at Wake Forest University School Of Medicine

Wake Forest University School of Medicine offers a variety of summer research and internship opportunities. These programs are mainly for undergraduate students. All programs are NIH-funded; applicants must be US Citizens or permanent residents and have a GPA of at least 2.85. Students from diverse backgrounds groups underrepresented in biomedical sciences are encouraged to apply.

Excellence in Cardiovascular Sciences (EICS) Summer Research Program

The EICS program focuses on research training in the cardiovascular sciences with medical school faculty. The curriculum includes biomedical laboratory research, a lecture series that features presentations by faculty and guest speakers, and a research symposium at which the students present their research findings. Forge Biologics Summer Internships

Forge Biologics is seeking CBC students to join their summer 2025 Ignite Internship Program. Applications open now are:

Applicants should be current juniors enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent. Current sophomores may apply for the AAV Bioprocessing Manufacturing position.

The Ignite Internship Program is designed to provide meaningful experiences in a professional environment while giving interns the experience to network with Senior Leadership and peers through a variety of activities and events. Interns will work on real business issues/projects and learn from industry leaders.

Interns will work onsite at Forge Biologics offices in Grove City, OH (~15 minutes from Ohio State Columbus campus).
