Ohio State Graduate and Professional School Fair
Wednesday, November 1 from 4:30 – 6:00 PM
Performance Hall, Ohio Union

The Ohio State Graduate and Professional School Fair is designed for students who are approaching graduation and are ready to apply to an Ohio State graduate or professional school. It is also appropriate for students who are early in their enrollment and want to learn about coursework and extracurricular opportunities that will help them to prepare for graduate and professional school admission.

Students can meet with admission representatives from over 20 Ohio State graduate and professional school programs, as well as representatives from pre-law, pre-health, the Arts and Sciences Center for Career Success, Financial Aid, and the Writing Center. A list of attending programs is available here.

The Ohio State Graduate and Professional School Fair has been approved as both a First Year Experience Student Success Series option and as a STEP professional development co-curricular (PDC) program. It is free and open to all Ohio State students of any major. No RSVP required. Students are asked to bring their BuckID for entry. Presented by the College of Arts and Sciences Student Council.

The Ohio State University Professional Exploration Program (PXP)

The Ohio State University Professional Exploration Program (PXP) provides an opportunity for underrepresented undergraduates who are interested in a health professional career, but have not decided on a career path, to explore careers in seven different health professional schools. Participants will explore career opportunities with the following OSU professional schools:

  • College of Dentistry
  • College of Nursing
  • College of Optometry
  • College of Pharmacy
  • College of Public Health
  • College of Veterinary Medicine
  • School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences

This year’s PXP program, set for August 2023 through February 2024, will provide an in-depth look at career options in the various health fields on designated Saturdays. The programming will be determined by each hosting college/unit and will be scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. but may vary.

This is a competitive program with a limited number of spaces, so be sure to apply soon!

Applications are due by Friday, June 30, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. 

All students will receive application results by Friday, July 14, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. and will need to accept their admission into the program by Friday, July 28, 2023, 11:59 p.m.

2019 OSU Graduate and Professional School Fair

The College of Arts and Sciences Student Council will host their 10th annual OSU Graduate and Professional School Fair on Wednesday, November 6th. Attendees can speak with admissions representatives from 20+ graduate and professional programs offered at Ohio State, as well as the pre-law and pre-health academic advisors.

Any and all Ohio State students are invited to attend, where they can learn:

  • Why apply to Ohio State for graduate or professional school?
  • What’s involved in applying?
  • What undergraduate courses and programs can help you prepare?

Purdue Chemical Engineering Master’s Program

Are you a graduating chemistry or biochemistry student? Consider applying to Purdue University’s Professional Masters Program at the Davidson School of Chemical Engineering. They are currently accepting applications for Autumn 2019. The program offers affordable tuition, a flexible curriculum, research opportunities that provide interaction with industry leaders, and opportunity for employment in the chemical process industry.

Ohio State Graduate and Professional School Fair

The College of Arts and Sciences Student Council will host their 9th annual OSU Graduate and Professional School Fair on Wednesday, November 7th. Ohio State admissions representatives from 20+ different programs will attend. There will also be an ASC pre-law advisor, an ASC pre-health advisor and representatives from the Arts and Sciences Center for Career and Professional Success, Student Financial Aid, the Office of Graduate and Professional Admissions, and the Writing Center and Princeton Review in attendance.

This program is an option for Student Success Series credit.

Admission is free and refreshments will be provided. No RVSP necessary. This program is presented by the College of Arts and Sciences Student Council.

Graduate and Professional School Expo

The Graduate and Professional School Expo will be held on September 19, 2018 from 12:30 – 4:00 p.m. in the Performance Hall and Great Hall Meeting Room on the first floor of the Ohio Union.

At the Expo you can meet with more than 100 graduate schools from across the country, explore all of their options, gather information, and make connections with admission officers. Admission is free to all Ohio State students. Professional dress is not required.

7th Annual Ohio State Graduate and Professional School Fair
This is a great opportunity for students who are new to Ohio State to begin to think about coursework, extracurricular activities, and co-curricular opportunities that will help them to prepare for graduate or professional school admissions.  It is also a good opportunity for students who are approaching graduation to learn what they need to do in order to apply to an Ohio State program.
 
Admission representatives from more than twenty Ohio State programs will attend.  In addition, there will be representatives from the pre-law and pre-health programs, ASC Career Services, Financial Aid and the Writing Center.  This event is open to all Ohio State students.  Admission is free and no RSVP is necessary.  Dress is casual.  Refreshments will be provided.  Presented by the College of Arts and Sciences Student Council.
