The Graduate and Professional School Fair welcomes students who are interested in pursuing their education further, connect with various schools and programs and learn more about the application and admissions process, such as:

  • What’s involved in applying?
  • What undergraduate courses and programs can help you prepare?
  • What programs are available at the different schools?

The fair hosts Graduate Schools from across the country and allows you to explore your options, gather information, and make connections with admission officers. The fair also gives you access to Grad School experts, who can provide invaluable tips and advice about the Graduate School admission process.

Pre-registration and professional dress are not required.

Interested in learning more about graduate & professional school before the fair? Register for the Grad School 101 workshop held virtually on Thursday, February 23. Participants will learn tips and tricks for navigating the grad school application process.

2023 OSU Summer Internship & Opportunity Fair

The 2023 Summer Internship and Opportunity Fair will be held on Tuesday, February 14, from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM in the Ohio Union Grand Ballroom.

This events targets undergraduate students interested in obtaining a resume-building opportunity for Summer 2023. This event hosts local, regional, and national organizations that are dedicated to diversity. These employers embrace, value, and live inclusive excellence.

Employers are excited to connect with you and discuss available internships, volunteer opportunities, and part-time work in the following areas:

  • Business-related functions
    For example: communications, advertising, public relations, marketing, retail management, sports management, and finance/financial services
  • Nonprofit management
    Organizations represent a variety of focus areas including the arts, healthcare, social services, women’s issues, and others
  • Summer and recreation camp counseling and management
    Summer day camps and resident camps will be in attendance as well as other recreational sports organizations

No pre-registration is required for students, but you are required to present a valid BuckID on the day of the event. You are also encouraged to prepare for the fair by having your resume reviewed. 2020 OSU Graduate and Professional School Expo

Is Graduate School in your future? Whether you are on the fence or have your mind made up about Grad School, getting a head start on the process gives you an edge over other students applying. Ohio State offers the best resource to give you that edge: the Graduate and Professional School Expo, held on September 23rd, 2020 from 12:00 to 5:00 virtually through Handshake.

The Expo hosts Graduate Schools from across the country and allows you to explore your options, gather information, and make connections with admission officers. The Expo also gives you access to Grad School experts, who can provide invaluable tips and advice about the Graduate School admission process. Professional dress is not required.

The College of Arts and Sciences Student Council will host their 10th annual OSU Graduate and Professional School Fair on Wednesday, November 6th. Attendees can speak with admissions representatives from 20+ graduate and professional programs offered at Ohio State, as well as the pre-law and pre-health academic advisors.

Any and all Ohio State students are invited to attend, where they can learn:

  • Why apply to Ohio State for graduate or professional school?
  • What’s involved in applying?
  • What undergraduate courses and programs can help you prepare?

This event is an option for Student Success Series credit.

Graduate and Professional School Expo

The Graduate and Professional School Expo will be held on September 19, 2018 from 12:30 – 4:00 p.m. in the Performance Hall and Great Hall Meeting Room on the first floor of the Ohio Union.

At the Expo you can meet with more than 100 graduate schools from across the country, explore all of their options, gather information, and make connections with admission officers. Admission is free to all Ohio State students. Professional dress is not required.

Public Service Career Fair

The Ohio Department of Public Safety is hosting a Free Public Service Career Fair! This is an opportunity to explore career opportunities and gain knowledge about a variety of state agencies and a great way for anyone to market themselves in one place!  Also, this is a free event

WHEN: Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Summer Internship and Opportunity Fair

The Summer Internship and Opportunity Fair will take place on Tuesday, January 24th, from 1:00 to 5:30pm in the Ohio Union Grand Ballroom.

Organizations at the fair will be recruiting for volunteer positions, internships, part-time summer jobs, and full-time summer jobs. There will be 120 employers from a wide range of fields present. This is a great opportunity for you to find a way to spend your summer doing something you are interested in while enhancing your resume. While at the fair, you can also have a LinkedIn headshot taken for free!

In addition, Career Services has partnered with JFS Columbus to offer a unique career fair prep workshop titled The Secret Sauce. This interactive workshop will teach you skills you’ll need to standout at the Internship and Opportunity Fair. It will take place on Wednesday, Jan 18th, from 5:30 to 7:00pm in the Psychology Building, room 14.

OSU 2017 Spring Internship & Opportunity Fair

Mark your calendars – the OSU Spring Internship & Opportunity Fair will be on Tuesday, January 24th, 2017!

The fair will be hosted in the Ohio Union, in the Archie Griffin Grand Ballroom from 1:00 – 5:30PM. This event is specifically designed for students looking for summer 2017 opportunities, which includes internships, volunteer opportunities, part-time summer jobs or full-time summer jobs. With over 80 companies attending, this fair really has something for every student, no matter where they are in their OSU career. Additionally, in preparation for the fair, there will be a Resume-O-Rama work-shopping opportunity in 100 Denney Hall, Wednesday, January 18th between 8:30AM – 4:00PM.

2016 Summer Internship & Opportunity Fair

On Tuesday, January 26 the Summer Internship and Opportunity Fair will take place in the Ohio Union Archie Griffin Grand Ballroom from 1-6 pm.

Opportunities available center around summer internships, volunteer opportunities, part-time jobs, and full-time jobs.

In total, 112 organizations are registered to be at the fair, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to non-profits and summer camps.

More organizations may join, so you are encouraged to check this page to keep updated on who will be represented at the fair.
