2022 Startup Career Fair

The Business Builders Club is hosting its 3rd annual Startup Career Fair. The Career Fair will include 40 businesses from around the Midwest, giving students the opportunity to hear from startups in the area. All students interested in working for a startup are encouraged to attend.

This will take place on Tuesday, January 25th from 12 PM – 4 Pm via Zoom.

Jeopardy! National College Championship

 

The Jeopardy! National College Championship is currently casting for an all new competition that features 15 colleges from across the U.S.! If you would like to be the new college champion, please take the Jeopardy! College Test now to be considered for the competition. Students are urged to take this test within the next two weeks.

Notre Dame ESTEEM Graduate Program Information Session

Esteem Graduate Program | CBC Undergraduate Program

University of Notre Dame will host a virtual information session for their Entrepreneurship, Technology, & Innovation Master’s program (known as the ESTEEM Graduate Program) on Monday November 16th at 5:30 pm. The ESTEEM Graduate Program runs for 11 months and uniquely combines science with business. At this program, students will have the opportunity to learn how to start their own businesses, raise money for new businesses, how to launch products, and other relevant topics in entrepreneurship.

ASC Career Connections: Nonprofit and Health and Wellness Careers

OSU’s Center for Career and Professional Success is holding a virtual networking event on November 12 from 2:00pm-3:00pm.

At this event, students will have the opportunity to network with organizations who work with individuals with special needs. Speakers at the event with discuss the non-profit sector, the operations of non-profit organizations, and the health and wellness industry. Graduate School Readiness & Professional Development Bootcamp

In collaboration with the Genentech Foundation, the ACS Bridge Project will hold a free, online Graduate School Readiness & Professional Development Bootcamp for underrepresented minority undergraduate students from January 8-10, 2021. A pre-workshop event will be held online in mid-November (more information about this event will be provided to selected applicants).

This workshop will help students:

  • articulate and frame strengths, motivations, experiences, and goals towards professional development
  • receive feedback on improving their personal narrative
  • outline a strategy for competitive graduate school applications
  • gain insight towards growing a professional network
  • receive educational and career coaching

The deadline to apply for this event is 5:00 pm, October 31, 2020. Space is limited to 25 selected applicants, so apply today!

ASC Career Trek: MEDPACE

The ASC Career Trek: MEDPACE event is occurring on March 13th during spring break from 1:00pm to 3:30pm in Cincinnati.

This event will include:

-A tour of the MedPace Facility

-Information about multiple job opportunities

-A Chance to observe a Clinical Research Associate working with medical staff

-A Q&A session

Medpace has space for 45 life science students to participate in this event! Their preference is for juniors, seniors and graduate students, but freshmen & sophomores are welcome to register as well.

Students will need to provide their own transportation to and from the event. Priority registration is February 16th. Students who register prior to February 16, 2019 will be notified of acceptance to the Medpace Career Trek by February 22nd. Applicants who apply after February 16, 2019 will still be considered on a rolling basis. You can apply on Handshake here.

Ohio State Graduate and Professional School Fair

7th Annual Ohio State Graduate and Professional School Fair
This is a great opportunity for students who are new to Ohio State to begin to think about coursework, extracurricular activities, and co-curricular opportunities that will help them to prepare for graduate or professional school admissions.  It is also a good opportunity for students who are approaching graduation to learn what they need to do in order to apply to an Ohio State program.
 
Admission representatives from more than twenty Ohio State programs will attend.  In addition, there will be representatives from the pre-law and pre-health programs, ASC Career Services, Financial Aid and the Writing Center.  This event is open to all Ohio State students.  Admission is free and no RSVP is necessary.  Dress is casual.  Refreshments will be provided.  Presented by the College of Arts and Sciences Student Council.
