Esteem Graduate Program
The ESTEEM Graduate Program is an 11-month master of science degree program at the University of Notre Dame that equips students from technical backgrounds with the skills and experience to launch new businesses. Over the course of a year, students are immersed in an entrepreneurial sandbox, where they get their hands dirty with innovation and launching new ventures through a cutting-edge curriculum, a capstone commercialization thesis for an emerging technology, and outstanding out-of-the-classroom experiences.
The Esteem Graduate Program offers an 86% placement rate at graduation and an average scholarship amount of 22.7 thousand dollars.

Undergraduate Research Scholarship
Deadline: Monday, September 17th
The Undergraduate Research Scholarship and the International Research Grant for Undergraduates in the Arts and Sciences are scholarships ranging from $500 to $6,000. The Honors Committee does not require that applicants be members of the Arts and Sciences Honors Program; however, the committee generally gives preference to students who are candidates for graduation with research distinction or with honors research distinction, because they have demonstrated the sort of academic ability and commitment which indicates the likelihood of success in completing a major research project. Microbiology Laboratory Internship
Guild BioSciences is a growing biotech company developing biologically oriented products for dynamic high-impact applications. They are seeking a long-term to support the core research objectives of several outgoing projects. The intern will be mentored to gain experience in basic microbiology, genetics, and product-oriented research.
The candidate must be enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate Degree program with focus in microbiology, molecular genetics, molecular biology, or related scientific disciplines. Previous hands-on laboratory experience is required. Preferred work schedule is at least three consecutive days during normal business hours, approximately 20 hrs/week.

Free Webinar for Future PharmD Applicants
The Ohio State University’s College of Pharmacy is hosting an event for pharmacy applicants who plan to apply to Doctor of Pharmacy programs in the near future. A viewing of “Tips and Tricks: Applicant Preparedness for PharmCAS Cycle”, a webinar offered by AACP and Liasion, will be followed by a Q&A session with members of the admissions staff at The Ohio State College of Pharmacy. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and talk with professionals who understand and work with the pharmacy application and admissions process. seeking highly motivated new graduates who are excited at the prospect of carrying out multi-step organic
synthesis in an R&D setting. NEXT is a startup developing game-changing semi-transparent photovoltaic windows.
Responsibilities:
• Execute multi-step synthesis under the supervision of senior leaders, frequently requiring the use of air-free techniques.
• Organic compound purification via column chromatography, distillation, etc.
• Characterization of intermediates and final compounds by NMR, mass spectrometry, and other techniques as required.
• Preparation and presentation of weekly reports summarizing progress and future work.
• Basic lab maintenance and upkeep.
Minimum Requirements:
• B.S. (B.Sc.) in Chemistry.
• Strong desire to work in an innovative research setting.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be comfortable working with up to 3L of organic solvent.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to follow directions closely, work safely, and be hands on.
