Campus Job: Student Engagement Specialist

The Ohio State Alumni Association Engagement Center is seeking Ohio State students interested in enhancing their communication skills, gaining fundraising knowledge, and growing their network to apply for its Student Engagement Specialist role. Student Engagement Specialists are primarily responsible for building relationships with Ohio State alumni, friends, and family to encourage donations through excellent customer service.

This role is perfect for part-time or full-time students looking to boost their resume and gain transferrable skills, but also for younger students looking to get on campus experience.

MCORE Information Session: 9/12/2024

All seniors and juniors are invited to join a virtual MCORE info session on Thursday, September 12 at 3 PM.

About MCORE:

The Michigan Chemistry Opportunities for Research and Education (MCORE) program invites approximately 20 highly qualified prospective students to the University of Michigan Chemistry Department to explore the Chemistry graduate program. Participations will interact with faculty, staff, and current graduate students, as well as have an opportunity to explore the chemistry building, labs, and Ann Arbor area.

There is no cost to attend for students selected to participate in MCORE.

ACS Buckeye Chapter Undergraduate Symposium

The Fall 2024 ACS Buckeye Chapter Undergraduate Symposium will take place on October 19th, from 9 am to 5 pm, in the CBEC Lobby.

The symposium agenda includes:

  • lightning oral presentations (10 min presentation w/ 5 min Q&A)
  • graduate student panel
  • poster session
  • provided lunch and refreshments
  • awards ceremony with prizes given to the top two presentations and posters

This symposium is open only to undergraduates at The Ohio State University.

All disciplines are welcome! Not chemistry exclusively.

Abstract submissions are due by September 23 at 11:59 pm.
