OSU Spring Undergraduate Research Festival

The annual Spring Undergraduate Research Festival is a research poster and presentation forum for students to share their mentored research projects with the broader academic community. It provides an opportunity for students to gain experience communicating their research in new ways, including designing a poster and discussing the project with Festival attendees.

The festival offers poster presentations during 60-minute sessions, as well as 10-minute oral presentations which allow for more creativity in presentation design.

As with the other forums hosted by UR&CI, the Spring Festival is not specific to any discipline; students from all disciplines across the university are invited to apply, and student presenters should prepare to discuss their research with a general audience. The Spring Festival is open to all undergraduate students at Ohio State who are participating in faculty-mentored research, and students can present on projects that are still ongoing – final results are not necessary for participation.

The 2023 Spring Research Festival will take place in-person on Thursday, April 6, in the TDAI Ideation Zone in Pomerene Hall. Exact session times will be provided closer to the event date.

The 2023 Spring Festival application will be open until March 19, 2023.
