28th Annual Denman Undergraduate Research Forum

The Denman Undergraduate Research Forum provides an opportunity for graduating student researchers to share their research endeavors with the broader community. Winners are recognized in each category as determined by faculty, staff, and Denman alumni reviewers. Students will be reviewed on their ability to communicate their research process and results effectively in both their written poster content and accompanying oral presentation.

The application will close on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at 11:59pm.

Applicants must be graduating during spring, summer, or autumn 2023.

In 2022, Honorable Mention winners received $200; Third Place received $300, Second Place, $400; and our First Place winners received $500.

The Denman Forum for the 2022-2023 academic year will take place on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.

University of Kentucky Undergraduate Research in Chemistry Regional Poster Competition

Participate in the University of Kentucky (UK) Undergraduate Research in Chemistry Regional Poster Competition!

The competition will be held Friday, April 19, 2019, in the Jacobs Science Building on UK’s Campus. This event allows undergraduate researchers to showcase their research and network with other undergraduate researchers from around the region.

Posters can be set up beginning at 11:30 am and the poster competition will begin at 12:00 pm. Awards will be announced at 3:30 pm with prizes given for first place, second place, and honorable mention awards.

PiNO Poster Competition and Career Fair

Calling all undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctorate students from all science and engineering programs to attend Case Western Reserve University’s Polymer Initiative of Northeast Ohio (PiNO) poster competition and career fair on June 15, 2018 in Cleveland, Ohio. PiNO is a one-day job fair and conference that allows students seeking internships, co-ops, or full-time employment to present posters, network with industry representatives, and win cash prizes.

The Polymer Initiative of Northeast Ohio attracts industry from all STEM fields, not just polymers. This conference is geared towards, but not limited to, students in the following fields: macromolecular/polymer science and engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, and materials science and engineering. Registration is $10 for students, researchers, and young professionals.
