28th Annual Denman Undergraduate Research Forum

The Denman Undergraduate Research Forum provides an opportunity for graduating student researchers to share their research endeavors with the broader community. Winners are recognized in each category as determined by faculty, staff, and Denman alumni reviewers. Students will be reviewed on their ability to communicate their research process and results effectively in both their written poster content and accompanying oral presentation.

The application will close on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at 11:59pm.

Applicants must be graduating during spring, summer, or autumn 2023.

In 2022, Honorable Mention winners received $200; Third Place received $300, Second Place, $400; and our First Place winners received $500.

The Denman Forum for the 2022-2023 academic year will take place on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.

Denman Undergraduate Research Forum

The 24th annual Denman Undergraduate Research Forum is an opportunity for undergraduate students in all disciplines to showcase their research, scholarship, and creative activities to the OSU community and beyond.

The Denman Forum will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm in the Biomedical Research Tower.
The deadline to apply is Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 5:00pm.

NMS Undergraduate Research Forum

Abstract Deadline extended to February 16.

The Natural and Mathematical Sciences departments announce the 2018 research forum for undergraduate students majoring in or conducting research in Actuarial Science, Astronomy and Astrophysics, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Computer and Information Science, Data Analytics, Evolution and Ecology, Earth Sciences, Mathematics, Microbiology, Molecular Genetics, Physics, and Zoology.

The forum will provide students the opportunity to present their research to their peers and their professors, polish their presentation skills, and prepare for other research presentations.

The Undergraduate Research Forum will be held, Wednesday, March 21, 2018, 2–5:30 pm, in the atrium of the Physics Research Building, 191 W. Woodruff Avenue. All students interested in undergraduate research in math and science are welcome to attend, and do not need to register unless they plan to present their research.

Denman Undergraduate Research Forum

Application Deadline: January 31, 2018

The annual Denman Undergraduate Research Forum is an opportunity for undergraduate students in all disciplines to showcase their research, scholarship, and creative activities to the OSU community and beyond.

You can select to present your work as either an oral (podium) or poster presentation. Oral presentations will be 15-minutes (10-minute presentation and 5-minute question/answer period). Poster presentations will be displayed on a large easel.

The Denman Forum will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 8:00am to 5:00pm in the Ohio Union
The deadline to apply is Wednesday, January 31, 2018.
