State Youth Welding Workshop – 4/16/2016

2016 Youth Welding Workshop – April 16, 2016

Ag. Engineering Building on The Ohio State University Campus in Columbus (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.)

Registration Opens March 1                       Registration Closes April 1

The Youth Welding Workshop provides a unique opportunity for youth ages 10-18 to develop arc welding (stick or SMAW) skills or oxyacetylene welding and cutting skills. With one-on-one assistance, students begin at their own level and progress in their skills throughout the day. All participants attend a safety session and then spend the rest of the day in the welding lab. This workshop is open to any youth but provides an excellent interactive opportunity for those completing the 4-H Arcs & Sparks project. More information about registration will be available March 1.
