Corinne Somers Receives State 4-H Family Life & Child Development Achievement Award

The 2017 Ohio 4-H Achievement Awards were presented recently at the Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center in Columbus and Corinne Somers was recognized with Family Life & Child Development which was sponsored by Ken & Christa Davis.

Corinne Somers, 16, is an eight-year 4-H member active in family life and child development, leadership and sewing projects. She continues to learn leadership and responsibility skills through 4-H. Corinne is the daughter of Randy and Deanna Somers from Canal Winchester, Ohio and is a junior at Canal Winchester High School

4-H Achievement Award winners will attend the National 4-H Congress with youth from all over the country in November in Atlanta Georgia.

The evening was hosted by the Ohio 4-H Foundation.

Ohio 4-H is the youth development program of Ohio State University Extension, with more than 183,000 young Ohioans participating in 4-H clubs, groups and special interest programs.
