Loyola University Maryland invites students who are interested in pursuing careers in forensic science to attend their information session about their unique MS programs in Forensic Pattern Analysis and Biological Forensics.

The online information session will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 6:00 PM–7:00 PM EDT.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the admissions process, curriculum, and internship and research opportunities. Students who attend the information session will have their application fee waived! Applicants from ALL undergraduate majors are welcomed.

Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Virtual Open House: 10/7 and 11/4

Founded in 1890, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) has shaped contemporary biomedical research and education with programs in molecular biology and cancer, neuroscience, genetics & genomics, plant biology, and quantitative biology. Home to eight Nobel Prize winners, the private, not-for-profit laboratory employs 1,100 people including 600 scientists, students, and technicians, and also runs a variety of educational, training, and professional development programs for all career levels.

The School of Biological Sciences at CSHL is an innovative and exciting doctoral program based on a rich history of more than 135 years of scientific research and education. Established in 1999, the School was designed to streamline and enhance all aspects of Ph.D. training, with all students’ individual goals at the forefront.

Rutgers Chemistry & Chemical Biology Graduate Virtual Open House

Rutgers University Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology invites you to join a Virtual Open House for their graduate program. Two open houses are offered: November 14 at 9M and November 15 at 10 AM.

WashU Chemistry Virtual Open House

You are invited to join a Virtual Open House on Wednesday, October 23rd, from 6 PM—8 PM EDT, to learn about the Chemistry Ph.D. program at Washington University in St. Louis.

At the Virtual Open House, you can explore the program in depth, meet with faculty and current graduate students, learn about the cutting-edge research conducted in the Department, and ask any questions about graduate school! UChicago PhD Personal Statement Workshop

Join students and faculty from the University of Chicago Biological Sciences Division on October 23rd from 5:30-7:30 PM EDT over Zoom for a Personal Statement Workshop.

This workshop is for anyone interested in pursuing a PhD in the biological sciences at the University of Chicago. Participants will work 1-on-1 with PhD students to craft a narrative that highlights your academic rigor and potential to thrive in graduate school.

During the session, there will also be representatives from each PhD program, UChicagoGRAD, Student Wellness & Student Disability Services, the Graduate Student Union, and the Graduate Recruitment Initiative Team (GRIT). The hosts (GRIT) request that you submit your application draft before the workshop, but you can update your submission during the workshop.
