The Fairfield County Horse Advisors will be holding their Tack Swap & Auction on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds in the AAA Building. Tack Swap starts at 10:00 a.m. and the Auction starts at 2:00 p.m. For an information flyer is posted below!
Just a reminder that the Spring Horse Clinic is April 22nd from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds. Flyer is can be found here: Spring Horse Clinic Invite, please get the word out to horse members. This will also count for the waiver for the Required Clinic in August. Horse exhibitors must receive this waiver at the April 22nd Spring Horse Clinic signed by one of the designated signers. It is the responsibility of the 4-H or FFA member to turn this waiver into the OSU Extension Office by the deadline stated on the form which can be found here 2016 Dog and Horse Waiver.
Quality Assurance training will remain in the clubs/chapters again this year. Advisors need to attend a training session to be up to date on the Good Production Practices (GPPs) being covered for 2016. We are looking for interested “teachers” to be trained and certified to educate livestock exhibitors on the required GPP’s. If interested, adult volunteers must RSVP to attend a training to become a certified Assistant Instructor for 2016. Monday, February 29th from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Rickett’s Hall at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds
Monday, March 21st from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Rickett’s Hall at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds
