Bob Evans Restaurants Community Fundraiser May 16-17

Bob Evans Restaurants throughout Ohio are set for a community fundraiser on May 16 and 17 that will benefit Ohio 4-H and other youth organizations.

The goal is to increase awareness of the importance of agriculture education programs supported by Ohio Farm BureauOhio 4-H and Ohio FFA. The event is expected to be the largest community fundraising program in the history of Bob Evans Restaurants.

It’s easy to participate. Just present this flyer and Bob Evans will donate 15 percent of sales May 16 and 17 to the Ohio Farm Bureau FoundationOhio 4-H Foundation and Ohio FFA Foundation.

Farm Bureau members in conjunction with 4-H and FFA member families have the potential to work together to make a huge impact on the future of agriculture education programs in Ohio. Plan to “dine to make a difference” at any Ohio Bob Evans Restaurant on May 16 or 17. Carryout and catering orders will also count toward the fundraiser. Catering orders must be placed by May 9. Bob Evans has 194 Ohio restaurants in 69 counties.

The Ohio 4-H Foundation Board Member Highlight: Natalyn Landis

Natalyn Landis has been an Ohio 4-H Foundation Board Member since 2015.  Natalyn is looking forward to graduating from Bloom-Carroll High School this year and heading to Ohio University in the fall to study Education.

Natalyn applied for and received a $150 mini-grant from My Hands to Larger Service, a grant provided through the Ohio 4-H Foundation. My Hands to Larger Service was designed to encourage 4-H members’ efforts towards performing larger acts of service.  In the last three years, 60 4-H youth  received funds to provide service to their community.

Natalyn’s project, a 5K Walk for Life, raised over $1,000 for children suffering from pediatric cancer at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
