Apply Now to be a Camp Counselor in 2026!

The 2026 4-H Camp Counselor application is now open! Due Friday, January 9th, 2026. Before submitting application online, see below for additional forms that need to be completed and submitted as part of the application process.

2026 Camp Counselor Application (online application) For youth interested in serving as a New or Returning Camp Counselor (must be 14 & older to be a counselor). You will be asked to upload the following forms within the application portal: 1. Standards of Behavior form 2. Ohio 4-H Camp Cell Phone Policy and Tar Hollow Electronics Policy/Camp Counselor Code of Conduct form 3. Counselor Permission to Participate. After you complete the online application, you will receive a follow-up email to complete the Ohio 4-H Health Statement. You will need to upload a current picture within this online portal.

Teen Opportunity: Junior Fair Board Applications – due 1/9/2026 (online)

  • 2026 Junior Fair Board Application (online application) For 4-H and FFA youth interested in serving on the Fairfield County Junior Fair Board.  Membership is open to youth between the ages of 14 and 18 years old. New members must be 14 years old by October 1st, 2026 of the current year to serve.

Kroger Community Rewards

1. Start at Kroger.com
2. Sign in with your current Kroger account or create a new one. Note: You must have a registered Kroger Rewards card in order to participate in the Community Rewards program
3. Click the Community Rewards tab and search for “Fairfield Co 4H Advisory Committee”, then click Enroll
4. Once you select your charity, it will be saved and you will support 4-H each time you shop!
5. The 4-H Advisory Committee will allocate these funds to the JFB upon receipt

Scholarship Opportunity: South Central Power – due 1/30/2026

South Central Power Company Scholarship programs help high school seniors who want to continue their education at a college, vocational, or technical school.

The South Central Power Company Foundation is offering five scholarship categories:

  • Academic Excellence
  • Career-Technical
  • Community
  • Leadership
  • Opportunity

Steps to apply for a scholarship

  • Review the five scholarship categories and rules and guidelines
  • You may submit only one application.
  • Be sure to use the correct scholarship category to submit your application.

The 2026 scholarship application and guidelines will be available in early December. The deadline to apply for the 2025 scholarships is Jan. 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
