The ExploreAg program is a weeklong experience for incoming high school freshman and sophomores in June of 2018, where scholars are introduced to various aspects of agriculture both in the classroom and through opportunities for hands-on learning both on and off campus at The Ohio State University. The Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation believes an increased awareness of careers in agriculture will have a direct impact on the strength of the farm and food community, the security of food for the future and the well being of Ohio. Ideal candidates have an interest in food, science, environmental and technology but may not have an awareness of the agricultural connection to those areas.
