The Ohio 4-H Healthy Living Advocates (HLA) statewide program is looking for teens in grades 9-12 who are interested in learning about healthy eating, leading an active lifestyle, and other health-related topics. The HLA program provides youth with the opportunity to represent 4-H and promote healthy living in their communities. Additionally, the HLAs help accomplish the goals of the National 4-H Healthy Living Mission Mandate, which encourages youth and families to gain optimal physical, social, and emotional well-being. It’s the FOURTH H!
If you are interested in starting a county level group or have one in place, please contact Amy Fovargue at fovargue.1@osu.edu. The Healthy Living Advocates team has curriculum and trainings that we can provide to educators.
