New Year, New Opportunities!

As we start 2019, it is time to be thinking about the new 4-H year. Are you looking to get more involved, try new things, or learn something new? Fairfield County 4-H has activities for everyone, and with many things starting soon we would love to have you join us!

  • Tractor Maintenance & Small Engines 4-H Club!
    • The first meeting will be Monday, January 7th at 7:00p.m. at the Fairfield County Ag Center, 831 College Ave, Lancaster. The club meets every Monday in January and February with a banquet in March.

  • Junior Leadership 4-H Club
    • This club is designed for older youth BY older youth. Some of the activities we do throughout the county are: social outings, community service, fundraising, leadership opportunities, and assisting at county events.
    • The first meeting is January 14th at 6:00pm at the Fairfield County Ag Center. For more information, contact Aubry Fowler (fowler.443@osu.edu).
  • Older Youth Opportunities!
    • Many Older Youth Forms and Applications are DUE in paper copy on January 11, 2019 at 4pm to the Extension Office (831 College Ave, Suite D, Lancaster)! Forms can be found here.
    • Apply to be a Camp Counselor, Junior Fair Board Member, or a Fashion Nutrition Board Member!
  • Start a New 4-H Club!
    • If you are interested in starting a new club for 2019, now is the time to get started. Please call the Extension Office (740-652-7260) to discuss your plans as soon as possible!
  • Become a 4-H Volunteer!
    • If clubs are looking to add volunteers for 2019, now is the time! The 4-H Volunteer Applications is now available can be found at this hereNew volunteer applications are due February 1st, 2019.
