University of Cincinnati REU

The University of Cincinnati’s Chemistry REU helps students build research skills and develop as emerging professionals and independent scientists. Participants will learn about real-life challenges that scientists are currently addressing, such as “Data Science for Big Data in Chemistry” and “Sustainable Chemistry.” Both chemistry and biochemistry research projects are available.

Students will also work closely with faculty and graduate students while working on their research project, each of which has been designed to have a tangible result during the ten-week program, running from May 30th to August 4th.

The program also includes a weekly discussion series and an end of program poster session to highlight the results of students research. A stipend of $6,000 will be awarded to each student in the program, as well as housing and meals on UC’s campus.
