Paper Clover Campaign

Since 2010, Tractor Supply Company (TSC) has proudly partnered with 4-H to help youth across the country thrive. Each year, the TSC Paper Clover fundraiser raises tens of thousands of dollars to support 4-H programming in Ohio—programs that spark curiosity, fuel adventure, and build lifelong skills to prepare tomorrow’s leaders for success.

Between November 28 and December 14 this year, you can show your support for Ohio 4-H by purchasing a paper clover at your local TSC store. Donations can also be added at checkout for all online orders made at tractorsupply.com.

All proceeds from this fundraiser go to 4-H, with 90% of donations directly supporting 4-H youth in Ohio and the remaining 10% supporting the overall mission and growth of 4-H nationally.

Your contribution helps empower young people to lead, learn, and grow—thank you for supporting Ohio 4-H!

Expressing Thankfulness for Your Livestock Buyers

Our local Washington County livestock sales have topped over $1.4 million in 2025. Truly a stellar accomplishment for our county and our local businesses. Here is a recap of the last six years including the averages: 2025-2020 Livestock Sale Averages

So Why 4-H & FFA Members Should Be Thankful for our Local Buyers?

  • Financial Support – Buyers pay premium prices at the livestock sale — often above market value — to reward your hard work. Their support helps cover the cost of your project and may fund future animals, feed, equipment, or even college savings.
  • Community Investment – Buyers are local businesses or individuals who believe in supporting youth agriculture programs. Their participation keeps our local fairs and traditions alive and builds stronger community ties.
  • Recognition of Effort – The sale is a way for buyers to acknowledge your time, dedication, and responsibility in raising a quality animal. Their bid is a sign that your effort and care are valued.

How 4-H & FFA Members Can Show Their Thanks?

We each must provide a positive, thankful attitude and encourage buyers to return next year and continue supporting 4-H & FFA youth. Good relationships lead to ongoing mentorships, sponsorships, and community connections. So let’s show our thanks!

  • Write a Thoughtful Thank-You Note – use a handwritten card or personalized letter. Mention the buyer by name, describe your project briefly, and express genuine appreciation.
  • Acknowledge Your Buyers Publicly – mention their support in your project record book or project poster. Give them a shoutout on social media.
  • Give a Small Gift – a framed photo, homemade treat, or decorated thank-you plaque can be a memorable gesture.
  • Visit and Support their Place of Business – drop by their business or send a holiday card later in the year to let them know how their support helped you.
