We (Peggy Byers, Julia Hughes, Bruce Zimmer, and Maggie Webster) were honored on November 16 to represent Washington County 4-H and accept an award from Heather Allender and the Marietta Community Foundation. Washington County 4-H was honored as the 2022 Outstanding Nonprofit of the Year! This award is dedicated to our 4-H volunteers, members and families!!

Ohio State Fair Steer Registration

  • Interested in showing your market steer at the Ohio State Fair? 2023 State Fair Market Beef Registration DNA sample kits and EID tags are available from the Extension Office. All samples must be received at the Ohio State Fair by January 15, 2023

Market Steer Tag-in & Weigh-in for 2023

  • Mandatory tag-in for 2023 Market Steers to be taken to the Washington County Fair will be Saturday, December 10 from 8-9:30 AM at the NFO Building on SR 339 near Waterford.
