2021 State Fair Market Beef Registration
DNA sample kits and EID tags are available from the Extension Office. All samples must be received at the Ohio State Fair by January 15, 2021
Market Steer Tag-in & Weigh-in for 2021
Tag-in for 2021 Market Steers to be taken to the Washington County Fair will be Saturday, December 12 from 8-9:30 AM at the NFO Building on SR 339 near Waterford.
Each 4-H Cloverbud member has been mailed a fun activity to do with your family! The activity provides lot of fun thing to, items to collect for your time capsule, questions to answer and a great way to reflect on 2020.
This fun activity is available to ALL AGES that would enjoy making a time capsule.

Thank you everyone that donated toys to help with the Marietta Community Foundation’s toy drive to benefit the Washington County Angel Tree Program. Washington County 4-H won $5000 and these funds will be deposited into the 4-H Fund at the Marietta Community Foundation!

The Nonprofit Challenge this year was a toy drive. Participating nonprofits collected new toys between Nov. 2 and Tuesday and delivered them to the foundation at 100 Putnam St. in Marietta.
The foundation raised more than $10,000 in toys that will be distributed as Christmas gifts, Allender said. All the toys will be donated to The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program, she said.
“They have expanded to their program to serve 1,000 children this year and the toys we collect during our event will help them significantly,” she said.
Washington County 4-H surged to second place with an 11th-hour toy delivery on Tuesday, Allender said.

We normally have an ice cream social and celebration to recognize our 4-H members that have won project pins, special pins and trip awards as well as special community awards and volunteer tenure awards.
This year we are planning a 4-H Drive Thru Celebration on Sunday, November 15 from 1 – 2 pm in the OSU Extension parking lot.
Recognition will include:
Members and clubs receiving awards will receive a postcard invite prior to the November 15 event. Pictures will be taken of the award winners!
All videos and pictures will be posted by Thursday, November 19 for viewing.
