Timeline for County 4-H Awards & Trips – Due Oct 12

Trip Award Clarification for 2020 winners: since the winners of these trips were not able to attend due to Covid and the cancellation of all state & national camps, 2020 trip winners will have first choice to attend the camp in 2021 as long as they still meet the age requirements for the camp. 2020 winners DO NOT NEED to complete another awards application unless you want to be eligible for a different trip or apply for Pin Awards.

2021 CWF & LWF Announcement: Both of these events will be virtual for 2021

Charlotte Wagner 4-H Club Community Service Award – due October 12, 2020

2020 Honor Club Application (completed by club)

2020 Scrapbook Application/Score Sheet (completed by club)

4-H Member Completion Report for member pins & certificates (completed by club advisors)

Timeline:

October 12                   Member’s application due to Extension Office.  Extension Office removes names and adds numbers to applications to provide an anonymous packet for the Awards Selection Committee to review.

October 26                      Awards Selection Committee reviews applications and selects Project Pin and Special Pin Award Winners.

October 26                      Trip Committee interviews applicants and selects winners for 4-H Trips and Margaret Meredith award.

Early November          Award winners invited to attend the 4-H Year Celebration.

November 19                 4-H Year Celebration – Plans are still underway for this event and how it will be conducted. It will not be an in-person event for 2020
