Lubrizol is looking for students pursuing a bachelors degree in chemistry with the availability to work three semesters (not necessarily consecutively) before their expected graduation date. Students interested in a summer or fall 2017 co-op look no further! Start your career by working alongside research chemists and completing projects in a team environment. Build your skills by synthesizing and formulating chemicals, running reactions, evaluating prototypes, and improving process development.

PiNO Career Fair

The Graduate Macromolecular Student Organization at Case Western Reserve University would like to invite post-doctorate, graduate, and undergraduate students from all science and engineering programs to attend the PiNO Career Fair on June 9, 2017 in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Polymer Initiative of Northeast Ohio (PiNO) is a one-day job fair and conference that allows students seeking internships, co-ops, or full-time employment to present posters, network with industry representatives, and win cash prizes. PiNO attracts students and representatives from ALL science and engineering fields.

ACS Career Development and Mentorship Event

ACS-Columbus has been working with the College of Arts and Sciences to create a mentorship and career advancement program for students in chemistry fields around Columbus. Each event will focus on a specific topic for career advancement and will provide and opportunity for students to connect with members of ACS Columbus.

The first event will be held on a Saturday (Time and Date TBA) this February and will focus on ‘Finding Your Path.’ It will explore the differences in a career in academics, industry, government, or working independently. Please consider attending the event. Some members from ACS-Columbus will be attending the program as well. This is a great opportunity to meet professionals currently working in the field and to network with those in the field. The goal is to make this event beneficial to students in every stage of their career planning process.
