Beginning Thursday, July 18 state fair packets will be ready for pickup. Packets will include state fair information, your scoresheet, and ticket. OSU Extension Office hours are 8 am to 4 pm at 1115 Gilman Ave, Marietta

State Fair Participation:
A member attending the July 13, 2023, judging event and scoring a superior (90-100) on their project will be considered for State Fair eligibility.
Members are also required to view the recorded State Fair orientation at https://go.osu.edu/statefairvideo
State Fair Delegates will need to pick up their State Fair information, tickets and packet before they leave for State fair.
They will be available by Wednesday, July 19th, at the OSU Extension Office – 1115 Gilman Ave – 2nd Floor.
If a selected member cannot attend state fair the alternate will be notified and given the opportunity to compete at State Fair.
Makeup Judging:

What Happens at our local fairs?:
Clubs will determine which fair they will display a booth. Members are encouraged to display their projects in their club booth and will receive a premium from the fair. (Waterford, County, Barlow)
Members are responsible for the completion of their project and must attend project judging to remain in good standing with 4-H.

What Happens at Fair?:
Kona Ice will be coming to 4-H Project Judging on July 13, 20203. Members and their families coming for their project interviews will be able to enjoy some Kona Ice as a tasty treat from 5:30-8pm. Please review the attached flyer for price and details. Kona Ice will be donating a portion of their sales back to the 4-H program in Washington County.
