Market Dairy Goat & Feeder Calf Tag-in

Required Tag-in for Market Dairy Goats and Feeder Calves will be Saturday, July 13 at the Barlow Fairgrounds 8 am to 10 am.Market Dairy Goats (does & wethers) must have a Scrapie tag in place by tag-in on July 13.

ALL FEEDER CALVES MUST BE TIED and will be TAGGED ON THE TRAILER. NO CHUTE WILL BE SET UP.

Washington County Livestock Entry Instructions For Jr Fair Breeding Animals & Open Class

This includes registration for: Beef Breeding, Dairy Breeding, Goat Breeding, Lamb Breeding, Poultry Breeding, Rabbit Breeding, and Horses AND ALL Livestock Open Class Shows.

Overview

  • All 4-H & FFA youth must complete Jr Fair Breeding animal & Open Class entries in FairEntry to exhibit at the Washington County Fair.
  • All 4-H Horse project members must complete this entry process to exhibit at the Washington County Fair
  • This entry process is not for market animals.
  • 4-H & FFA members must be ENROLLED in the appropriate breeding project in-order to register in the Jr Fair Breeding Classes.
  • All Open Class livestock exhibitors must complete Open Class entries in FairEntry to exhibit at the Washington County Fair.
  • All 4-H horse registrations and class entry will be entered online into FairEntry.
  • Registration deadline for ALL entries is Monday, August 5, 2024.

Market Chicken & Duck Pick-up

Pickup will be at the Heritage Coop on Third Street. Please come prepared with something to take your poultry home in.  Your housing at home should be ready to go to put your birds in. Anyone can pick up your birds. Youth do not have to be present.

We cannot hold the birds.  They must be picked up during assigned pick up.  Members needing supplies from Heritage are asked to call them ahead of time so your order will be ready.
