A few highlights from Nancy’s Career with OSU Extension and the 4-H Program…
- Helped countless new 4-H clubs get started
- “Trained” 5 County 4-H Agents
- Started and coordinated County/City Government Day Programs for 27 years
- Her Telesis class (through the Marietta Area Chamber) initiated YES—Young Engineers and Scientists in 1992—now a two day program for all youth in the area held at Washington State Community College
- Served on the state committee that wrote 4-H Genealogy Project
- Decorated and displayed items from 4-H members at 93 fairs in Washington County!
- Organizer of the original 4-H Chicken BBQ at the county fairgrounds
- Planted seeds for Cloverbuds, 4-H members, Advisors, Volunteers and Clubs—helping them grow into better achievers, leaders and citizens for their clubs, our county and our world!
