SIBUR Holding, Russia’s largest petrochemical company, encourages open innovation strategy and commercialization of cutting-edge science discoveries. SIBUR invites students, faculty, and researchers at the Ohio State University to participate in the IQ-CHem, an open international platform for communication between start-ups and venture and strategic investors in the field of chemical technologies of the future. At the final presentation, taking place this June in Moscow, finalists will get the opportunity to meet the largest companies of the industry, find an investor, and turn their idea into a real production.

Topics for proposals can include:
- basic monomers, production and use of custom chemicals
- modern equipment and technological solutions for higher operative efficiency of chemical and technological processes.
- Innovative technologies and products in the field of gas processing and transportation.
- Innovative technologies and products in the field of production and use of new plastics and elastomers.
Travel and accommodation costs are covered, and the cash prize pool is 55,000 USD.
