Colorado School of Mines is offering a Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program called Advancing Polymer Materials by Integrating Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. The program provides a unique interdisciplinary research experience that will apply polymer science and polymer engineering practices to 21st century technologies such as fuel cell membranes, solar cells, coatings, and health care.
REU participants will have the opportunity to work with faculty mentors from the departments of Chemistry, Chemical and Biological Engineering, and Materials Science.
Participants receive a stipend of $5,000, paid on-campus housing, travel allowance, and hands-on research experience. The program will run from May 28, 2018 to August 3, 2018.
