MEDLIFE is a non-profit international student organization committed to helping underprivileged communities achieve greater freedom from the constraints of poverty by providing Medicine, Education, and Development to Low-Income Families Everywhere.
What is it?
This winter break, a mobile clinic is being sent to Cusco, Peru from December 31st-January 8th.
This is open to any Ohio State student within any major.
This is a great opportunity for pre-health students to learn about health care in a developing country!
What will you get to do?
You will have the opportunity to
- experience the beauty of an incredible Spanish speaking country
- work with local health care professionals to provide health care to remote communities surrounding the city
- help combat public health issues such as STDs and parasites
- as well as complete a development project to improve the lives of the communities we will be working in.
