Chem 5430: Carbohydrate Chemistry

This Spring, Chemistry 5430 (Carbohydrate Chemistry) will be a course offering.

Carbohydrate Chemistry topics include degradative reactions in acids and bases, protecting group manipulations, strategies and functional group inter-conversions, reactions at the anomeric center and pseudosugars, chemical glycoside synthesis, NMR of carbohydrates, biosynthesis of carbohydrates and enzymatic synthesis methods, and biology of carbohydrates.
