Jr Fair Royalty Announced for Local Fairs

The 2023 Washington County Junior Fair royalty competition was held on Monday, August 14 by OSU Extension at The Galley in Marietta. Eleven royalty candidates participated in an individual interview with three panel judges and a public speaking event.  Seven youth were chosen for the junior fair royalty court to serve at the Washington County, Waterford Community, Barlow Independent Fairs.

2023 Washington County Jr. Fair Royalty:

  • Queen Ericka Schultheis, Backyard Gang and Carteens 4-H Clubs. Daughter of Rob & Lori Schultheis of Marietta and she is a senior at Marietta High School and the Washington County Career Center.
  • Princess Elizabeth Loughry, Oak Grove Explorers 4-H Club. Daughter of Timothy & Cassandra Loughry and attends Marietta High School as a senior.
  • Jr. Princess Trinidee McKenzie, Cutler Clovers 4-H Club. Daughter of Tim & Dee McKenzie of Cutler and Trinidee attends Warren Middle School.
  • King Steven Anderson, Fur & Feather 4-H Club and Warren FFA. Son of Paul & Petina Anderson of Marietta. Steven attends Warren High School and Washington County Career Center.
  • Prince Levi Reynolds, Barlow Buckeyes and Bulls Eye 4-H Clubs. Son of Kelly Cale of Belpre.  Levi will be an 8th grader at Warren Middle School.
  • Horse Princess Ava Lamp, Backyard Gang 4-H Club. She is the daughter of David Lamp and Holly Forinash and she attends Marietta City Schools.
  • Dairy Princess Mollie Lang, Backyard Gang 4-H Club. She is the daughter of Aaron Lang and Toni Gober. Mollie attends Fort Frye Middle School as an 8th grader.
