New Program from Paulding SWCD

The Paulding Soil & Water Conservation District is pleased to announce the launch of a new cost-share program called the Lower Auglaize Nutrient & Sediment Reduction Program (NSRP) for producers in Paulding County. Funding is limited in this program so be sure to contact me as soon as possible. Check below for program details.

Eligibility will be limited to acres in the watersheds listed below. Not sure which one your acres fall in? Reply to this email or call and I will be happy to assist you!

  • Wildcat Creek
  • Big Run-Flatrock
  • Eagle Creek-Auglaize River
  • Little Flatrock Creek
  • Sixmile Creek

What practices and how much?

The Lower Auglaize NSRP Program is a construction-type project cost-share program that provides cost-share funding to install the following practices, in addition, to maintain them for their useful life period. Below you will find each practice along with the cost-share rate.

 

Practice Cost Share Rate 
Drainage Water Management Box w/o Sub main Installed (per structure) $                1,350.00
Drainage Water Management Box with Sub main Installed (per structure) $                3,750.00
Blind Inlet (per structure) $                2,300.00
Filter Strip (per acre) *two years of establishment/maintenance* $                   290.00
Grassed Waterways (per acre) $                7,500.00

When can I sign up?

Enrollment will be open starting July 29, 2020, through September 21, 2020, OR when enrollment caps are met. Enrollment may be opened up for a second round if funding is available.
