Develop Real-World Skills with Camps & Parks Summer Jobs

This Thursday, April 6, from 3 to 5 p.m. ASC Career Success will host a virtual panel of OSU alumni and employers actively recruiting OSU students for summer internships and jobs!

Students will learn best practices for leveraging summer camps and parks jobs, and integrating them into their degrees and career success. Camps and parks summer jobs are more than “just a summer job” – develop your leadership, problem-solving, critical thinking, and networking skills — and many more! These are necessary skills for any career path.

Pfizer 2022 Summer Growth Experience

The Pfizer Summer Growth Experience Program of 2022 (summer internship) offers summer employment opportunities spanning across all Pfizer businesses at various Pfizer sites in the U.S.

This program is designed to help create a meaningful internship experience for early talent interested in pursuing a career in the pharmaceutical industry. For summer of 2022, there will be both virtual and in-person roles, and students can select their preference(s) for Pfizer locations. The Growth Experience Program is very competitive but is considered a great opportunity for interns get to work on real, impactful initiatives, while building relationships and learning about Pfizer.

Available job categories include:

  • General Business
  • Regulatory Affairs
  • Science/Lab Based
  • Science/R&D

Assignments typically begin in May and last through August, but depend on business needs and your availability.

2021 Summer Internship and Opportunity Fair

The Summer Internship and Opportunity Fair will take place virtually on Thursday, March 4 from 1-5PM.

 

This will be the 11th year for this fair and while the purpose of the event remains to connect employers with undergraduate students seeking internships, volunteer opportunities, part-time and full-time summer employment, intent going forward is to use this fair as a showcase for organizations that demonstrate inclusive excellence.

Career Success is committed to partnering with organizations that prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion in everything they do. These organizations may have been started or consist of many employees that have been underrepresented in the past including men and women of color, people with disabilities, and those in the LGBTQ+ community.

The event will host over 100 employers who are looking to hire Ohio State students of all majors.

2020 Summer Internship and Opportunity Fair

ASC Career Success is hosting a Summer Internship and Opportunity Fair in the Archie M. Griffin Ballroom of the Ohio Union. This event will be held on Wednesday, February 26th from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. This fair will give undergraduate students the opportunity to meet with a variety of employers who are looking for candidates for summer internships, part-time and full-time summer jobs, and volunteer opportunities. Students interested in pursuing resume-building experiences for careers in business-related areas, nonprofit management, sports and recreation, education, and other areas are encouraged to attend and students of all majors are welcome.

No preregistration is necessary, but a valid BuckID must be presented on the day of the event. In preparation for the event it is recommended that students have their resumes reviewed, walk-in hours for this are posted here.

Summer Job Opportunity

The Department of Materials Science and Engineering has an immediate need for an undergraduate student to assist in a project directed towards the polymer modification and synthesis of bio-sensing materials for biomedical applications.

Some experience with organic chemistry is preferred along with an availability of about 20 hours per week.
