This event is a great opportunity for members who will be serving in an officer role to learn more about their officer role and gain hands-on experience and helpful resources so they will be better prepared to serve as an officer in 2024. Members who maybe aren’t serving in an officer role yet, but would like to learn more are also encouraged to participate!

We will also have a session for New Family Orientation to help new families learn more about what 4-H has to offer and to have their questions answered.

Ohio 4-H is hosting a virtual 4-H Club Officer Training On Monday, February 27, 2023 from 7:00-8:30pm. This is a great opportunity to learn more about holding a 4-H club office. There will also be a session for 4-H Club Advisors! Register online by Friday, February 24, 2023 by visiting http://go.osu.edu/officer. Once you register, an email confirmation with the Zoom link will be sent to the email address with which you registered.

Virtual Statewide 4-H Officer Training

There will be a virtual, statewide 4-H Officer Training on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 starting at 7:00pm. This is a great opportunity for both those who know they will be holding an officer position as well as those who want to learn more about being an officer. Deadline to register is Wednesday, March 30, 2022. Visit go.osu.edu/officer to register for this event.

Don’t Forget! Achievement Award Forms Due October 15th

Are you at least 14 years of age, or will be 14 years of age by January 1, 2022? Then we have just what you need!

You are now eligible for county, state and national project award recognition, selection to attend 2022 state and national trips, and possibly even the opportunity to apply for scholarships as a high school senior! All of these opportunities are available to YOU – but you have to apply for them! The deadline to apply is Friday, October 15th, and all of the 2021-2022 application materials can be found on our Teen Opportunities page.
