4-H Books / OSU Extension Publication Price Increase

OSU Extension Publishing raised the cost of all publications (including 4-H project/resource books) on November 1st. Most 4-H project books will now be $12.00 with some of the larger books costing more. This is the price you will pay when purchasing books from our office. You can also purchase books directly from the OSU Extension Publishing website, however, the price is higher there plus there is a cost for shipping. We wanted to make our families and advisors aware of this change so that you can keep it in mind as you plan for the 2026 4-H year.

The 2026 Project Guide is now available online at https://ohio4h.org/books-and-resources/family-guide so that you can review which projects are continuing, discontinued, being revised, or are new. Families that had a member and/or advisor enrolled in 4-H in 2025 should receive a copy in the mail in January 2026. In the Project Guide, any book without a price listed is the new standard price of $12. Books that are a different cost will have the specific price listed at the end of the project description. Now is a great time to start looking at the project opportunities for next year!
