Market Steer/Heifer weigh in for the 2022 Hartford Fair will take place on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 8:00 – 11:00am at the west end of Grubb Arena at the Hartford Fairgrounds. Please complete the following registration by 1:00pm on Friday, December 10, 2021 for EACH animal that you plan to tag and weigh in: go.osu.edu/2022HartfordWeighInRegistraion. 4-H Bags Available for Purchase
The Licking County 4-H Committee purchases special gifts for volunteers and 4-H youth who are recognized at and attend our annual 4-H Achievement Night. The extra items are now available for purchase on a first come, first served basis. These make great Christmas gifts! All money from these items will go back to the 4-H Committee for use to purchase ribbons/awards, fund trips, and support the 4-H program in a variety of ways. Items can be purchased at the Licking County Extension Office with cash or check only (checks made payable to Licking County 4-H Committee).

Crafters and Quilters Wanted!
JOANN is looking for 4-H’ers or alumni to create a project for three special initiatives in 2022: National Crafting Month, Kids Crafting and National Quilting Month. They want your ideas for creating simple projects that others can recreate. If your project is selected it may be shared in JOANN promotions! Want to know more? 2021 Achievement Night Results
It was so wonderful to see so many families as we celebrated the 2021 4-H Year at our Achievement Night on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. We wish to share our gratitude to the Licking County 4-H Committee for sponsoring the event. They provided the refreshments, table decorations, volunteer and youth gifts, and set up, cleaned up and helped carry all of the supplies to make the night a success! Adrienne and Lisa are Headed to Memphis!
Adrienne and Lisa will be traveling to Memphis November 14-19, 2021 to attend the National Association of Extension 4-H Youth Development Professionals Annual Conference in Memphis, TN. They are looking forward to networking with colleagues from across the nation and bringing new ideas back to Licking County. If you have questions or need to get a hold of them during this time, please send an email. They will be checking email throughout the week but may not respond as quickly as they normally would. Youth must be at least 15 years of age as of January 1, 2022 and be a junior fair exhibitor at the Hartford Fair in order to apply.
