The Chinese program in the East Asian Languages and Literatures Department at Hamilton College invites applications for a one year visiting position at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning July 1, 2023. We seek candidates to teach upper-level Chinese courses and non-language courses in the candidate’s specialty. The teaching load for this position is five courses a year.
Qualifications
We seek candidates who can demonstrate their experience in teaching or working with diverse student populations. Candidates with ABD will be considered, although candidates with a Ph. D. are preferred.Your cover letter should address the ways in which you would further the College’s goal of building a diverse and inclusive educational environment.
