2024 Cloverbuds in the Kitchen

The Licking County 4-H Food and Fashion Board is happy to once again host their Cloverbuds in the Kitchen program. Cloverbuds in the Kitchen is designed for Cloverbud aged youth to learn some kitchen basics. Youth are not required to be enrolled as a Cloverbud to participate, but should meet Cloverbud age requirements (age 5 and in Kindergarten as of 1/1/24 up through project age). Cloverbuds in the Kitchen will take place on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 from 6:30-7:30pm at the Licking County Extension Office. Participants will learn about kitchen safety, how to appropriately measure ingredients, make a snack, and play games and complete a craft. We ask that an adult plan to remain with the youth for the entire program.

Complete the registration at http://go.osu.edu/CloverbudsInTheKitchen by Monday, July 22, 2024. Registration will be limited to the first 10 participants to register. If registration fills, please email Adrienne at anderson.1410@osu.edu to be put on a wait list.

2024 Stock the Trailer Challenge!

We’d like to challenge our 4-H Clubs and FFA Chapters that will be participating in the Hartford Fair to help our Junior Fair Board in collecting non-perishable food items, along with money, to support the Food Pantry Network of Licking County! Every single dollar, or food item, will directly benefit people inside of our fair district! We are challenging each club/chapter to collect $100 or 50 lbs of food!

Start collecting NOW, and then drop off food items to the designated trailer (in front of Grubb Arena), or money can be dropped off to the Junior Fair Board Office during the fair.

Bonus: If the Hartford Junior Fair Board collects more than the other fairs in our region, our fair will receive $5,000! HELP US WIN! We’ve placed third the past two years – but with your help, we can do better!
