- EAR TAGS… All Breeding Beef project animals MUST HAVE 840 RFID TAG in their ear. If you (or the breeder) have not already tagged the animal with an 840 RFID tag, please know that tags are available at both the Hartford Fair Office and the Licking County Extension Office. These tags are being provided at no cost, but can only be used or project animals that will be exhibited at the 2024 Hartford Fair. The tag must be in place prior to photos being taken, and prior to those photos being uploaded in to the FairEntry system – which is due May 15th.
- PHOTOS DUE… All Breeding Beef animals intended to be shown at the Hartford Fair MUST UPLOAD TWO PHOTOS in to FairEntry by no later than May 15th. One photo must be a side view of the animal, while the second should be a photo of the RFID tag inserted in the ear. Instructions are provide online, along with sample photos.
