The Licking County 4-H GrandPals program is beginning its 15th year. The GrandPals program is a partnership with Cherry Valley Elementary in which fourth grade students are partnered with a senior citizen pen pal (GrandPal) from the community. Students and GrandPals will each write four letters back and forth, with the final letter being given in person at our end-of-the-year celebration. This program helps the students learn writing skills in real-world applications. We are in need of additional GrandPals to ensure that each student has someone to write to. If you or someone you know would be interested in becoming a GrandPal, please contact Adrienne at anderson.1410@osu.edu or 740.670.5315.
