Youth taking livestock projects to the Hartford Fair are required to attend one Quality Assurance (QA) training each year and all members who are taking a horse project for the first time are required to attend one Horse Safety & Ethics (HS&E) training in 2019. The list of guidelines for who is required to take a QA or HS&E and scheduled training dates can be found here. All QA and HS&E trainings must be complete by June 1, 2019 to be eligible to show at the Hartford Fair. A list of training dates for the county and other events can be found on the guidelines. Several state and other county QA trainings will also qualify, however, any training held after June 1 will not count toward Licking County 4-H and Hartford Fair eligibility.
