The Department of Comparative Literature and Foreign Languages at the University of California, Riverside, is recruiting for a lecturer position in Chinese during Winter and Spring Quarters 2016, pending final budgetary and enrollment approvals.
Duties will consist of the instruction of three (3) sections total. One section of Chinese-1 during Winter Quarter, and one section each of Chinese-2 and Chinese-3 during the Spring Quarter. A completed Masters degree in Chinese or a related discipline is required. Priority will be given to candidates with substantial experience in teaching Chinese at the university level. Present Lecturer salary per course is $6,126.50. Winter quarter instruction begins Monday January 4, 2016 and Spring Quarter instruction ends June 10, 2016.
