I’d like to announce the publication of my book, Malaysian Crossings: Place and Language in the Worlding of Modern Chinese Literature. This book uses Malaysian Chinese (Mahua) literature to propose that local literary formations are capable of fostering meaningful styles of covert globality by capitalizing on their own internal diversities and connected histories.
