Ohio Beef Expo to Celebrate 35th Anniversary March 16-19

What: The Ohio Cattlemen’s Association coordinates the Ohio Beef Expo, the premier event for Ohio’s beef industry. It attracts an annual attendance of over 30,000 people and over 1,500 head of cattle between the various sales and shows.

The 2023 Expo features nine breed sales, a sold-out trade show with over 150 vendors, youth education opportunities, including a judging contest and beef quality assurance training and a highly competitive junior show that is the last and largest show of the OCA BEST sanctioned show program.

Background: The Ohio Beef Expo started in 1988 and has been held at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus each year.

The event will recognize breeders and trade show exhibitors who have participated for 35 years.

Interview opportunities include OCA leaders who helped organize the Expo in 1988, scheduled speakers and 35-year participants.
