ONE-YEAR ASSISTANT PROFESSOR/INSTRUCTOR IN CHINESE
DEPARTMENT OF MODERN LANGUAGES AND LITERATURES

The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Rhodes College invites applications for a one-year Assistant Professor/Instructor, full-time position in Chinese to begin August 2016. The successful applicant must possess a firm commitment to teaching at a liberal arts college. Duties of the position include teaching courses at all levels of the undergraduate Chinese curriculum. Teaching load for this position is six courses. PhD preferred. Specialization open. Preference will be given to candidates who have extensive teaching experience in language at all levels and in literature, film, or cultural studies. Native or near-native fluency in Chinese required. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
