Ohio Forage and Grasslands Council Summer Sheep and Forage Tour coming up on Friday, July 12, 2019.
The tour will begin with participant pick up at 9:00 a.m. at the Red Roof Inn in Jackson, OH, then proceed to Chillicothe, Ohio, then to Vinton, Ohio, and drop off back in Jackson at 4:30 p.m. This educational and fun tour hosted by the Ohio Forage and Grasslands Council (OFGC) and sponsored by the Ohio Sheep and Wool Program includes lunch at Old Canal Smokehouse and bus fare at a rate of $20 for members of OFGC and $25 for non-members. Tour participants are encouraged to make reservations at the Red Roof Inn and stay to attend Ohio Sheep and Hay Day on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at The Ohio State University’s Jackson Agricultural Research Station.
