4-H Trip and Scholarship Application Due

 

Are you interested in applying for a 4-H trip?  There are several opportunities including Leadership Washington Focus, Citizenship Washington Focus, Leadership Camp, or Ohio Forestry Camp.  There are also state opportunities including State Jr. Fair Board, and OTA Local Government Award to name a few.

The same application is used for county 4-H scholarships.

Trip and scholarship applications are due to our office by February 1.

Greene Co. Farm Forum Scholarship Available

The Greene County Farm Forum will award up to $5000 in scholarships to deserving current year graduating students or college freshmen pursuing higher education in a field related to
agriculture.  Applications are due April 20, 2018. Download the application here.

The Farm Forum is an organization promoting fellowship among citizens of Greene County with programs emphasizing subjects pertinent to agriculture.

GREENE CO. MASTER GARDENER VOLUNTEER – COLLEGE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP – DUE MARCH 16, 2018

Master Gardeners of Greene County – College Student Scholarship Available

The Master Gardeners of Greene County is a volunteer organization teaching environmentally sound, research based gardening and horticultural related practices to the citizens of Greene County under the auspices of the Ohio State University Extension Office of Greene County.

The organization will award a $1,000 non-renewable scholarship to a deserving current year high school graduating student or college freshman. The student must be a resident of Greene County pursuing higher education within Ohio at an accredited technical school or in a 2 or 4 year college/university. The student must major in a field of study related to horticulture, turf management, landscape design or technology, soil science, entomology, pest management, botany-plant pathology, forest management or environmental sciences.

As a reminder applications for the 4-H scholarships and for 4-H trips are due February 1.  Please encourage teens to apply for the scholarships and for the trips!!
