Today’s Teen Tip Tuesday is all about “How to Check the Oil in Your Car.” Please watch and encourage others too as well!
“Take the Leap: Career Readiness Day” will take place on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center! This event is open to any 4-H member – ages 13 to 18 – and is completely FREE!

Join 4-H teen leaders from across the US in learning about opportunities to pursue national experiences in 4-H! During this webinar, leaders of national 4-H opportunities will share about programs available for teenage 4-H members, including National 4-H Conference, National 4-H Congress, Citizenship Washington Focus, Leadership Washington Focus, the national summit series (AgriScience, Healthy Living, Photography, and STEM/Maker), the Youth in Action Awards, and the National 4-H Youth Advisory Committee. Hear about program highlights and have a chance to ask questions.
This webinar will be hosted on Zoom and is coordinated by nationwide 4-H faculty and staff dedicated to teen leadership topics. Future webinars will aim to connect 4-H teen leaders from across the country to share about other opportunities for teens and to build connections. If you are unable to attend, you are encouraged to register anyway to be notified about future webinars and to provide input on future webinar topics.

As a reminder applications for the 4-H scholarships and for 4-H trips are due February 1. Please encourage teens to apply for the scholarships and for the trips!!

CARTEENS, 4-H Scholarship on behalf of Vet Associates, & 4-H Scholarship on behalf of Gail Heider, Goat, Poultry, Horse, and Rabbit Scholarships- Must turn in both of the following:
1. Front page of scholarship form
2. Ohio 4-H Achievement Record
The Master Gardener Scholarship is posted! The Master Gardener Volunteer program awards a $1,000 non-renewable scholarship to graduating students or college freshman. The graduating students must be pursuing a higher education degree at a 2 or 4-year school.
Students must be majoring in a field related to horticulture, turf management, landscape design or technology, soil science, entomology, pest management, botany-plant pathology, forest management, or environmental sciences.
Applications due March 16, 2018.
